La Miel - Panamá

Beach

The land border between Colombia and Panama, unlike others, can be reached by foot, can be crossed on foot and is the limit between two Caribbean tropical paradises. We found this border in the Darién jungle, between the department of Chocó, in the region of Sapzurro and La Miel, the first Panamanian town that we encountered. To get here on foot, you have to climb about 200 stairs from Sapzurro. Once we reach the top, we will find a very quiet military post and the flags of the sister republics of Colombia and Panama. From the outset, it offers you an incredible view and that is the best welcome they can give you. Another form of arrival is by sea from Capurganá or Sapzurro. Do not forget to have a document such as the Colombian citizenship card or passport at hand.

Soledad

Playa Soledad is a place to enjoy on the beach between nature and the warm Caribbean sun. Disembarking the boat, you can walk on the elevated trail through the mangrove forest.
